Lauren Castillo

Lauren Castillo is a Senior Research & Development Engineer at AlloSource®, with expertise in product development, process improvements, characterization, validation, and optimization since July 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Research & Development Engineer I at Colorado State University from May 2014 to May 2017, where responsibilities included performing biocompatibility blood studies and imaging, as well as isolating valvular endothelial cells. Lauren also interned as a Product Development Intern at Sharklet Technologies, focusing on cell migration research and validation protocols. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver.
