Alan Lai

Alan L. is an experienced materials science professional currently serving as the Head of Process and Materials and Lead Metallurgist at Alloy Enterprises Inc since July 2020. Previous roles include Senior Materials Engineer at Braidy Industries from February 2019 to March 2020 and Materials Engineer at Xtalic Corporation from 2006 to 2008. Alan L. holds a Postdoctoral degree in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2017-2019), a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the same institution (2010-2016), a Master of Science in Resource and Recycling Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2008-2010), and a Bachelor of Science in Metals and Materials Engineering from McGill University (2002-2007).
