Alex Kolicich

Alex Kolicich is a founding partner at 8VC, where they partner with optimistic entrepreneurs in healthcare, bio-tech, and software. Alex also serves as a charter member of The C100 and an advisor to Blend Labs.

Prior to 8VC, Alex was a partner at Formation 8. Alex has also served as an investor and advisor to AppDirect and Helion Energy. Additionally, they were a board observer at C2FO and a principal at Mithril Capital Management, where they led the investment in AppDirect and was directly associated with investing/sourcing of Adimab, C2FO & Helion Energy.

Alex has been involved in the tech industry for over six years. Alex is passionate about working with early stage companies and helping them grow and scale. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and playing golf.

Alex Kolicich has a B.SE from the University of Waterloo in Software Engineering and an Economics degree from the University of Toronto. While at Waterloo, they were involved with Engineers Without Borders.
