Liza Bernabei Gillan

Liza Bernabei Gillan, JD and CRCM, has a strong background in compliance, legal, and audit roles. Liza Bernabei started their career as a Westlaw Student Representative at Thomson Reuters in 2005 and later became an Associate Attorney at Anthony C. Raccuglia & Associcates, P.C. in 2007. Moving into the banking sector, Liza served in various leadership positions at Citizens First National Bank, Centrue Bank, and Old Second National Bank over the years. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Operational Risk & Compliance at Alloya Corporate FCU since 2023.

Liza Bernabei Gillan, JD and CRCM, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in B.S. in Administration of Criminal Justice and B.S. in Sociology from Bradley University in 2003. Liza Bernabei then went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2007. In 2016, they obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification from ABA Institute of Certified Bankers. Additionally, in 2007, they received their Law License from ARDC: Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois.
