Yilun Gong

Yilun Gong is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH since September 2021 and has co-founded OxMet Technologies in 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Oxford from October 2017 to August 2021 and a Visiting Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in January 2017. Yilun Gong was a Doctoral Student at EDF Energy between 2014 and 2017 and a Visiting Researcher at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH in March 2016. Additionally, there was an Internship Program Fellowship at the National Institute for Materials Science in summer 2014. Yilun Gong holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Oxford (2013-2017), a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Birmingham (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Central South University (2007-2010).
