Colin Barnes

Colin Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Colin started their career in the British Army as an Engineer and later became a Workshop Corporal Class 1 Electrical Engineer. Following their military service, Colin worked as a Resident Site Engineer at Baileys Maintenance Services and then as a Field Engineer at T-Mobile. Colin then joined Three as a Field Operations Team Leader before moving to Ericsson Ltd as a Field Operations Manager and later as an Area Operations Manager. Colin also had experience at CBS Outdoor as an Estates Operations Centre Manager and at RaceKit Ltd as a Co-Owner and Company Director. Colin worked at Cornerstone (CTIL) as an Operations Manager and later as a Commercial Partnership Manager. Colin's most recent positions include Head of Technical Delivery at Giganet and currently, they hold the role of Head of Business Operations at AllPoints Fibre.

Colin Barnes has a diverse education history. In 2019, they obtained a Practitioner in Contract and Commercial Management from the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1999, Colin attended the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, where they earned a Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering Competencies, as well as two C&G degrees in Electrical & Electronic Craft Studies and 16th Edition Wiring Regulations. In 1992-1993, they also achieved a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Level 3 Engineering Maintenance from an unspecified institution.
