Dimosthenis Karatzas

Dimosthenis Karatzas has had a varied and successful career in the field of computer vision and machine learning. Dimosthenis's work experience began in 2002 as a Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool. In 2005, they moved to the University of Southampton as a Research Fellow. In 2007, they became Director of TruColour Ltd and Associate Director and Senior Research Fellow at the Computer Vision Center. From 2009 to 2019, they held the roles of Profesor Agregado, Interim Professor, and "Ramon y Cajal" Senior Research Fellow at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In 2019, they co-founded AllRead Machine Learning Technologies.

Dimosthenis Karatzas obtained their BSc in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 1993 to 1999. Dimosthenis then went on to pursue a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool from 1999 to 2002.
