Catherine McLaughlin

Catherine McLaughlin, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as the Head of Institutional for the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands at Allspring Global Investments since December 2022, and also holds the position of Head of Institutional Sales for the UK & Ireland. Additionally, Catherine is an AIMSE Council Member at AIMSE Europe Limited and a Steering Committee Member for the Diversity Project in the Investment Industry from February 2023 to February 2024. Previous roles include Director of Business Development at Allianz Global Investors, Vice President for UK Institutional and Client Facing Solutions at State Street Global Advisors, Investment Consultant at Aon Hewitt, Fixed Income Fund Manager at Irish Life Investment Managers, and BComm Lecturer at Strathmore University. Catherine holds a BA in Natural Science from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Investment and Treasury from Dublin City University, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
