Elise Howard

Elise Howard, J.D., CAMS, currently serves as the Head of Financial Crimes and Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer at Allspring Global Investments since January 2022, following a role as Senior Financial Crimes Officer. Previously, Elise worked at PIMCO from March 2016 to January 2022 as an Anti-Financial Crime Compliance Officer, overseeing compliance programs related to Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Economic Sanctions. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Legal Associate and Manager of Legal Affairs at SureFire, contributing to various legal matters and managing a substantial patent portfolio. Earlier roles include as an editor for Bloomberg BNA and the Orange County Lawyer Magazine, along with positions as a Law Clerk and Patent Agent at CENTURY IP GROUP, INC. Elise holds a Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Anthropology from the University of California, Davis.
