Heather White

Heather White currently serves as the Head of Global Employment Law, Litigation, and Investigations at Allspring Global Investments, a position held since April 2022. Previously, Heather worked at TIAA for nearly seven years, initially as Associate General Counsel and later as Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, focusing on global employment, benefits, and labor law. Responsibilities included advising on compliance, managing employment litigation, and overseeing internal investigations. Prior experience includes a decade at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP as a Partner, where litigation of complex disputes was a primary focus. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Barnard College.
