Jose Matienzo

Jose Matienzo has had a progressive career in the field of cybersecurity. Jose most recently worked at Allstate Canada, where they served as the Security Operations Lead and prior to that as a Senior Security Analyst. Before joining Allstate, they worked at ivari Canada as an Intermediate Security Analyst. Prior to that, they worked at Herjavec Group as both a Tier-II and Tier-I Security Analyst. Jose'scareer started at the Toronto District School Board as a Network Technician.

Jose Matienzo pursued their education in a chronological manner. Jose first attended San Beda University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communications Technology. After that, from 2010 to 2011, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Network and Systems Administration from the University of the Philippines. Finally, they attended Centennial College from 2014 to 2017 and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Technology - Networking (Co-op). In addition to their academic qualifications, Jose has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Security Analytics Professional - CSAP, Comptia CySA+, Trend Micro Control Manager 6.0, CrowdStrike FHT 101, and Sumo Pro User.
