Mohamed Jamal has a diverse work experience with several companies. Mohamed started their career at RBC as a Programmer, where they resolved defects and tested fixes on a COBOL system. Mohamed then joined Intact Financial Corporation, where they worked as a Systems Analyst and later became a Senior Programmer/Analyst. In these roles, they participated in various development projects, resolved complex business problems, and managed code changes. Mohamed also worked at CSIO as an XML Standards Developer/Analyst, managing the national data standard for the P&C Insurance Industry. Mohamed then moved to Travelers Canada, where they served as a Senior Programmer Analyst, primarily working on the enhancement of existing applications and collaborating with business owners to define user stories. Prior to their current role, Mohamed worked at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) as a Specialist, Guidewire Development, responsible for overseeing and reviewing vendor deliverables. Currently, Mohamed is working at Allstate Canada as a Lead Software Developer, responsible for leading software development projects.
Mohamed Jamal earned a Computer Programming Diploma in Computer Studies from Seneca Polytechnic in 1995.
