Chris Gates is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading IT strategies across various industries. Currently serving as a Board Member for SustainableIT.org, Chris is dedicated to advancing global sustainability through technology leadership. As the Chief Technology Officer at Allstate since June 2018, Chris plays a pivotal role in overseeing technological advancements within the organization. Chris previously held key positions at AIG as Global Head of Compute Hosting Services, Under Armour as CIO, and GE in multiple CIO roles, including GE Lighting, GE Energy, and GE Aviation, where Chris was responsible for significant business transformations and strategic IT management. Chris also has experience in strategic alliances with Xerox and IT planning with Procter & Gamble, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Wright State University.
