David S. Boyd, FAICP, has had a diverse career spanning roles from small-town reporter to rock & roll road manager, and eventually serving as a community planner. They were inducted as a "Fellow" of the American Institute of Planners in 2006. Currently, Boyd works as a Senior Program Manager at Allstate while pursuing a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning at The University of Texas at Arlington and a BA in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They emphasize leaving a positive impact in every community and organization they engage with and advocate for investing in future generations.
