Cornet Taylor has over 30 years of work experience in the IT field. Cornet began their career in 1990 at Tek Systems, Inc. as an Application Developer and LAN Administrator, contracted at the Pentagon, US Air Force of Washington (AFDW), Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS). Cornet had a DOD NAC Clearance (inactive). In 2000, they joined e.magination as a Sr Web Developer, where they performed full SDLC work on the Waste Tracking System for Waste Management, Inc. based in Houston, TX. Finally, in 2001, they joined Alltech International, Inc. as a Deputy Team Lead, Tech Lead, and Sr Web Developer, contracted at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Cornet had a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) (active). As Deputy Team Lead, they managed and assigned daily tasks for 14 senior and junior staff members who were responsible for the configuration management, software development, design and operational support on the Enterprise Telephone Data (ETD) Warehouse project.

Cornet Taylor attended DeVry University from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Information Systems.
