Atul Varadhachary has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Atul is currently serving as a Member of the Advisory Committee on Childhood Cancers at the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. Prior to this, they held the position of CEO at Allterum Therapeutics, where they led the development of an antibody for the treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Atul also served on the Board of Directors for Pulmotect, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on developing products to boost the immune system against lung infections. Additionally, Varadhachary has held advisory and board roles in organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Greater Houston Partnership, BioHouston, and TiE. Atul has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine.
Atul Varadhachary completed their education in the field of Medicine. Atul obtained an M.D. degree from the University of Mumbai from 1981 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Ph.D. in Physiology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1987 to 1992.
