Adam McKinty

Adam McKinty has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Adam started off as the Founder and Owner of Sportstats, a company that managed finish lines and produced results for various mass participation events. After three years, they had successfully delivered results for 135 events and timed several international triathlon championships.

Following their time at Sportstats, Adam McKinty joined Corel Corporation, initially serving as a QA Specialist before moving up to become the QA Manager of Core Engines. Adam also led the Linux QA teams and developed a hardware certification program for the company. As Director of Special Projects, they spearheaded a process change that had a significant impact on the company's overall development process. Later on, they took on the role of Director of User Experience Design and Program Management, leading teams across multiple Corel product lines. Adam implemented a user-centered design process and oversaw successful product releases in multiple languages.

Adam McKinty also had a venture as the Owner of Neat Coffee Shop, where they turned a community coffee shop into a wood-fired pizza/coffee shop/live music venue that thrived and matched the community's needs. Adam later became President of Neat in the Woods, organizing a music festival that received critical acclaim and achieved a high Net Promoter Score.

Their work experience also includes being a Consultant for Wylie Systems Inc., where they contributed to the design and development of a health care-related business system. Additionally, they served as the Director of Product Development for Painter at Corel Corporation, overseeing the re-design of product architecture and successful launches of new products.

More recently, Adam McKinty has held senior leadership positions at Corel Corporation, serving as the Director of Product Delivery and then as the Senior Director of Product Delivery and DevOps. In these roles, they led teams responsible for overseeing product configuration, setup, localization, quality assurance, and automation. Adam was instrumental in delivering CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Corel Painter, WordPerfect, and CorelDRAW Technical Suite in multiple languages.

Currently, they are working at Alludo as the Senior Director of Product Delivery and DevOps.

From 1986 to 1990, Adam McKinty attended Carleton University. However, no information was provided regarding the completion of a degree or field of study pursued during that time.
