Genevieve McAllister

Genevieve McAllister is an experienced software and web developer who has worked in the education and healthcare industries. Genevieve began their career in 2012 as an AmeriCorps Mentorship Program Coordinator, where they integrated three separate program designs, assessed success of events through surveys, and developed successful working partnerships. In 2014, they became an Elementary English Language Teacher at Jeil Elementary School, where they led a school-wide language program and increased adoption rates by 15%. In 2016, they became an English Literature and Composition Teacher at Highline High School, where they wrote a new curriculum, streamlined workflow, and reduced grading time by 30%. In 2020, they joined VOGLIO Digital Marketing as a Web Developer, where they developed and redesigned an internal tool, led accessibility upgrades, and collaborated with technical and non-technical teams.
