Cameron Knox has a diverse work experience history. In 2012, they worked as an Outdoor Programmer at YoWoChas Outdoor Education Centre, where they facilitated outdoor adventure camps for various groups. In 2014, they were an English Teaching Intern at AIESEC, teaching English to classes of different ages and abilities. Cameron also worked as a Mathematics Tutor at NumberWorks'nWords, tutoring children aged 6-18 in mathematics. In 2015, they were an Engineering Intern at Ecoult, contributing to the development of the UltraBattery. In 2016, they participated in the Melbourne Accelerator Program at the University of Melbourne, and later co-founded Allume Energy, where they held the positions of CEO and Co-Founder, as well as Technical Operations Lead and Co-Founder.

During their time at the University of Melbourne, in 2015, Cameron participated in a Science Exchange Program at McGill University. During this program, they studied Mechanical Engineering and French.
Also in 2016, Cameron obtained a Diploma of Languages in French from the University of Melbourne.
