Peter Toogood has over 12 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Peter started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Invetech in 2008 and worked there until 2015. Peter then joined Team Consulting Limited as an Engineering Consultant and later became a Senior Engineering Consultant from 2015 to 2019. In 2020, Peter joined Allume Energy, first as a Product Development Engineer and then became the Head of Hardware.

The SolShare allows one rooftop solar installation to be shared by multiple residents in the one building. It is demand responsive tomaximise benefits to residents, and reduce exports of solar to the grid. Allume has installed SolShares in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
