Paul May

Paul May is an accomplished Automation Engineer at Alluxa, Inc. since June 2022, previously serving as Principal Engineer at ARI - Art Robbins Instruments, where expertise in designing liquid handling robots and advanced optical systems for life sciences applications was demonstrated. Prior experience includes consulting engineering at Macken Instruments, where LED-based systems for CO2 laser technology were developed, as well as founding Applied Fluidics LLC, where a nanoliter volume fluid dispensing robot was created and successfully marketed. Earlier roles at Innovadyne Technologies and Medtronic involved operations management and senior engineering responsibilities, respectively, in medical device manufacturing and production planning. Paul May earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1998.
