Jose Muguira Marrero

Jose Muguira Marrero has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Jose started their career as a Developer and Client Support at Cubanacan S.A. from September 1990 to December 1993. Jose then worked as a Systems Analyst, Developer at Softur - Desoft S.A. from January 1994 to February 2005, where they were involved in database design and development, desktop application development, complex application deployments, and data integration solutions. Following this, they joined Datys as a Systems Analyst and Developer from March 2005 to October 2007, where they focused on functional analysis and database design for various modules of the eHotel Suite.

Jose's career then moved to Melia Hotels International Cuba, where they held the role of IT Manager from March 2007 to October 2015. Their responsibilities included leading a team of analysts and programmers, managing a team of IT professionals at the hotels, systems analysis, database and front-end design and programming, deployment coordination, and client training and support.

Jose then joined Meliá Hotels International as an IT Manager from July 2016 to June 2017. In this role, they maintained and troubleshooted IT equipment and software, administered the hotel network, servers, and databases, tracked service requests, communicated problems to management, conducted IT audits, and maintained vendor contacts and agreements.

Currently, Jose is working as a BI Developer at Allvue Systems since September 2017.
