Tara McKean

Tara McKean is an experienced event management professional with a diverse background in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Events at Travis Schultz & Partners since November 2024 and as the Founder of Self Events Co since April 2022, Tara focuses on empowering young women and assisting businesses in creating impactful events. Additionally, since September 2022, Tara holds the position of Event Operations Manager at ALM and serves as an Ambassador for the Sunshine Coast Young Chamber of Commerce. Tara's prior experience includes roles such as Event Manager at Public Sector Network and ALM Media, Event Specialist at Pepper Marketing, and Exhibition Coordinator at ExpoNet, among others. Tara holds a Diploma of Event Management from the College of Event Management and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Business and International Business from the University of the Sunshine Coast and IDRAC Business School, respectively.
