Esa Markkanen

Esa Markkanen currently serves as an Analyst at ALM Partners, focusing on analyzing and managing interest rate risks and asset-liability management for financial institutions. Previous experience includes an Analyst Trainee role at Asuntosalkku Oyj and a project employee position at SavoGrow Oy, where involvement in events for the BerryGrow and FutureSavo projects occurred. Esa also gained leadership skills as a Second Lieutenant in the Finnish Defence Forces and entrepreneurial experience while running a construction business during high school. Early work included a position as a Construction Worker at JH Rakennus ja Remontointi Oy. Esa holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Economics from Turku School of Economics and completed exchange studies in Economics at Linköping University.
