Alexey Barbanell

Alexey Barbanell is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in power electronics and hardware engineering. Currently serving as an R&D Senior Power Electronics Designer at Alma Lasers since March 2019, Alexey specializes in high power laser drivers. Previously, Alexey worked as a Hardware V&V Engineer at Medtronic, focusing on hardware verification and validation for medical equipment. Earlier roles include Project Manager at Formtest Solutions LTD, overseeing project implementation and electrical design, and Electronic Engineer at Nir Or Israel Electronics 91 Ltd, where responsibilities included electrical design and working on electro-optical systems. Academic credentials include an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Ruppin Academic Center and a B.Sc. in Physics from Bar-Ilan University.
