Andrew Banakus

Andrew Banakus has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Andrew currently holds a position as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Alma since September 2022. Prior to that, they also served as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Alma from July 2022 to September 2022.

Before joining Alma, Andrew worked as a Backend Software Engineer at Foresight Mental Health. Andrew held this position from November 2021 to April 2022 and also from June 2021 to November 2021.

In 2018, Andrew worked as a Software Engineer at LubbDubb. Andrew'sresponsibilities included building LubbDubb's mobile app using JavaScript, React Native, and ExpoKit. Andrew held this position from March 2018 to March 2021.

Andrew also gained experience as a SQL Server Database Consultant (Contract) at One Legal from July 2019 to October 2019. In this role, they developed efficient SQL queries and implemented automated reporting.

Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as an Imaging Technician at County of Santa Cruz - Admin Services IT Department from March 2015 to August 2018. Andrew was recognized as one of the top performers, managed databases, provided technical assistance, and performed help desk support duties.

Andrew's work experience also includes a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz from January 2012 to June 2012.

Andrew Banakus has a diverse education history. Andrew first attended Santa Rosa Junior College from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Psychology. Andrew then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Intensive Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2012. In 2016, Andrew attended Coding Dojo, specializing in Full-stack Web Development. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, they obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton.
