VP of Product at Alma

Quinn Duffy has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Resident Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University from 2006 to 2007. Following that, Quinn worked at LanguageWorks as an Account Manager, managing multiple translation projects and coordinating workflow from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Quinn joined the Lexington School for the Deaf, where they served as a Student Database Administrator, Spanish-English Interpreter, and Administrative Assistant. Their responsibilities included configuring and administering the student database system, providing interpretation and translation services, and managing school correspondence until 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Quinn worked at KIPP NYC as a Student Data and Assessments Manager. In this role, they conducted trainings for teachers and staff, designed performance dashboards, and developed customized tracking systems.

Quinn then transitioned to Alma - Modern tools for K-12, where they served as a Product Manager from 2015 to 2018. Their main focus was on roadmap planning and delivering new features and enhancements for the K-12 SIS. Key projects included course request forms, gradebooks, and transcripts.

After leaving Alma, Quinn joined Abl in 2018 as a School Success Lead. They created and maintained a customer-facing knowledge base, implemented standardized customer support processes, and provided training and coaching to schools through the master scheduling and student placement process.

Most recently, Quinn has been with Alma since 2020, holding positions as Director of Special Operations (Product) from 2020 to 2022 and currently serving as the VP of Product. The specific responsibilities for the latter role are not provided.

Quinn Duffy pursued higher education at Boston University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Linguistics in the year 2006. They went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics from the same institution in 2007. During their undergraduate years, Quinn participated in a study abroad program at La Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in 2005, further enhancing their knowledge in the field of Linguistics.
