Kalyan Varma of Almabase 🎓

Kalyan Varma has extensive experience in the technology and education sectors. Kalyan began their career in 2008 as an Analyst Developer at Goldman Sachs. Later that year, they also served as the Overall Student Coordinator for Technozion '08, the second largest tech fest in South India.

In 2011, Kalyan co-founded and served as CEO of Social Heart, an online marketplace for NGOs and other social enterprises. Kalyan then moved on to become the Head of Technology at Smartpocket, a mobile wallet that stores loyalty and prepaid cards. Smartpocket was acquired by Goodbox in 2013.

In 2014, Kalyan co-founded Almabase, a company with the mission to make high quality education affordable. Kalyan served as Co-Founder and CEO and Co-Founder and CTO.

Kalyan Varma attended Niraj Public School before enrolling in National Institute of Technology Warangal, where they obtained a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications in 2008.
