Tommy Crawford

Tommy Crawford is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, public services, and healthcare. Currently serving as the Global Group Head of Procurement at Almac Group since December 2012, Tommy focuses on cross-Group initiatives across multiple categories such as Professional Services and Logistics. Previously, Tommy worked as a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers, providing solutions in procurement and commissioning for UK clients, and held the position of Head of Procurement at Sefton Council, where substantial cost savings were achieved. Tommy’s earlier roles include Commercial Services Manager at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust and Purchasing Manager at TUI AG and Thomson Travel Group, emphasizing expertise in driving efficiencies and managing procurement teams. Tommy holds a BA Hons degree and is a Chartered MCIPS from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
