Yuva Krishnapillai is an experienced swimming instructor and lifeguard at Almaden Valley Athletic Club, serving since July 2022. Additionally, Yuva has been a member of The Helyx Initiative since May 2020 and represented the San Jose Youth Commissioner's Council for the City of San José from November 2019 to February 2023. Yuva also worked as a private tutor from August 2019 to November 2019. Currently enrolled at the University of California, Riverside, Yuva is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, following the completion of studies at Branham High School, with a focus on pre-medical studies, graduating in 2023.

The Almaden Valley Athletic Club, (AVAC), is the Bay Area's premier, award-winning family facility offering total health, fitness and wellness programs for all ages.
