Carlos Cosin has extensive experience in the water industry, having held various leadership positions in renowned companies. Carlos is currently the CEO and Founder of Almar Water Solutions, a company that provides technical expertise and solutions for water infrastructure development. Carlos also serves as an Investment Committee Member at Community Jameel, an organization that supports scientific and humanitarian advancements. Additionally, they are the President of the Center for Water and Climate Adaptation at IE University. Previously, Carlos served as the President of the International Desalination Association and held leadership roles at Stakia4Water, Abengoa Water, Veolia Water, US Filter, and ICTC SA. Carlos'sroles ranged from CEO and Chairman positions to managing business development, concessions, and project divisions. Throughout their career, Carlos has been focused on addressing water scarcity and contamination challenges while promoting sustainable water management.

Carlos Cosin attended Colegio Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Madrid from 1968 to 1981 where they completed their high school education, focusing on the field of Science. Carlos then went on to Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they pursued a degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Animal Production from 1982 to 1988.
