Stefan Kuiper

Stefan Kuiper is an experienced Application and Market Development Manager at Almatis, where expertise in physical chemistry is applied to execute research programs focused on understanding the mechanisms of Calcium Aluminate Cement and achieving rheology improvements through colloid chemistry and polymer additives. Prior to this role, Stefan served as a Product and Application Engineer and Post-Doc Scientist at Delft University of Technology, conducting research on polyimide-based aerogels and opto-electronic liquid crystalline systems during a PhD tenure that involved organic synthesis. Earlier experience includes working as a Polymer Chemist at Akzo Nobel Chemicals, where successful exfoliation of nanoclays in polyester-based systems was achieved.
