Lucas Posthuma

Lucas Posthuma is a sport scientist currently employed at Almere City FC since August 2021. Previously, Lucas held the position of stagiair performance science at AFC Ajax from July 2020 to August 2021 and served as a studentvoorlichter at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from August 2018 to August 2021. Earlier experience includes working as a verkoopmedewerker at Albert Heijn and as a leidinggevende vulploeg and verkoopmedewerker at Kruidvat. Lucas holds a Master’s degree in Human Movement Sciences with a focus on Biophysics in Sports from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in May 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Bewegingswetenschappen, with a minor in Sport and Sport Psychology, obtained in 2020 from the same institution. Prior education includes graduating with cum laude honors from Helen Parkhurst with a VWO degree in Natuur en Techniek and Natuur en Gezondheid.
