Alfred Abelaira Matas

Alfred Abelaira Matas has a wealth of experience in facility management, construction, and project management. Alfred started their career as a Process Engineer at VYC Industrial SA in 1984, eventually becoming a Thermal Fluid Product Manager. Alfred then moved to ADAIBRA SA in 1988, where they worked as a Cryogenic Product Manager and Petrochemical Plants Project Manager. In 1991, they transitioned to Gas Natural Fenosa as an LNG Project Manager before joining Technip in 1994 as a Construction Manager. From 1995 to 2001, they served as the Executive Director at IDOM. Since 2001, Alfred has been with Almirall, initially as a Corporate Facility Manager R&D and currently as the Director of Global Corporate Facility Management.

Alfred Abelaira Matas completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1983. Alfred then pursued a Master's degree in Thermoelectric Engineering from UPC School in 1985. Later, in 1993, they completed an Executive MBA from EADA Business School.
