Claudia Soester

Claudia Soester has over 30 years of experience in finance and controlling roles in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. Claudia began their career at Boehringer Ingelheim, where they worked as a Controller before moving on to become an International Pharma Controller. Claudia then transitioned to Fresenius Kabi as an International Financial Controller before taking on roles at HOMAG and Almirall. At Almirall, Claudia served as an International Business Controller, International Finance Manager, Finance Manager R&D, and currently as the Finance Director R&D. Throughout their career, Claudia has been responsible for financial control, reporting, budgeting, and team leadership, demonstrating their strong expertise in financial management and strategic planning.

Claudia Soester completed their Bachelor's degree at Gymnasium am Schloss in 1986, where their main field of study was languages, including French, English, and Spanish. Claudia then pursued further education in industry and economics at A.S.E.T. Barcelona from 1986 to 1988. Claudia later obtained a Diplom Betriebswirt (Economist) degree in European Economy from AKAD University between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, they participated in various programs focusing on leadership, strategic talent development, and mergers & acquisitions at IESE Business School and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2006 to 2007.
