Diego Herrera

Diego Herrera began their work experience in 1992 as a Clinical Research Associate at Almirall. Over the years, they held various roles at the company, including Study Coordinator, Clinical IT Manager, and Study Information Manager. From 2011 to 2024, they served as Head of Clinical Data & Information Management, with responsibilities ranging from leadership and accountability to CDISC implementation. In 2024, they transitioned to the role of Director, Clinical Data & Digital Innovation at Almirall. Additionally, they served as a Member of the Board of Advisors and Advisory Board Member at Agati Clinical Informatics starting in 2021. Prior to their tenure at Almirall, Diego was a Teacher of Laboratory in Haematology and Biochemistry at Escuela Técnica "Santa Teresa de Jesús" Barcelona from 1990 to 1993.

Diego Herrera attended the University of Barcelona where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Life Science.
