Francesc Catalan

Francesc Catalan has extensive experience in Information Technology leadership roles within the pharmaceutical and agribusiness industries. Francesc served as Almirall's CIO and Corporate Information Technology Director, focusing on digital transformation and strategic capabilities. Prior to that, they held positions at Novartis and Alcon, where they led global IT business partnering and served as CIO in various regions. Additionally, they had IT management roles at Bigfinite Inc and Cargill, showcasing their expertise in IT strategy development and implementation.

Francesc Catalan has a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1983-1988) and has attended the IESE Business School for Business Administration and Management (2008). Additionally, they completed the IT Excellence Program at IMD Lausanne (2012-2013) and holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
