Meritxell Falques Casanovas

Meritxell Falques Casanovas has over 20 years of experience in statistics, starting as a Statistician at Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica in 1997. Meritxell then moved on to Biometrica-group in a similar role before joining CDC-Clinical Development Consulting (Almirall) as a Statistician in 2001. In 2002, they transitioned to Almirall where they held various roles, the latest being Head of Global Statistics from March 2017. In their time at Almirall, they managed a team, provided statistical support across various departments, and played a key role in the design and strategy of clinical trials.

Meritxell Falques Casanovas studied for a Licenciatura en Ciencias y Técnicas Estadísticas at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
