Oscar Laseca

Oscar Laseca is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence, process engineering, and quality management. Currently serving as an Operational Excellence Specialist at Almirall since July 2017, Oscar has focused on implementing Lean Culture initiatives, change management within production and laboratory environments, and various improvement projects. Previous roles include Process Engineer at Novares Group, where Oscar designed and optimized plant layouts for increased efficiency, and Operational Excellence Technician at Alcon, responsible for coordinating and implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects. Oscar's career began at Lithoplate, where responsibilities encompassed quality management system design and internal auditing, and included a role as a consultant for quality and environmental management systems at Qualistaff S&N. Educational qualifications include a Licenciatura in Ciencias Químicas from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Black Belt certification in Six Sigma from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a postgraduate degree in Product & Process Engineering Management from IQS Barcelona, expected in January 2025.
