James Reindel

James Reindel is an accomplished executive in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in toxicologic and anatomic pathology. As Executive Director at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since November 2022, and serving as Scientific Director of Pathology at Charles River Laboratories since June 2015, James provides scientific leadership and quality control, while also contributing to marketing outreach and client interactions. Previously, James held leadership positions at Amgen as Director of Pathology, leading the Toxicology Pathology efforts for the Inflammation and Neuroscience Portfolio, and at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as Director of Toxicologic Pathology. Early career experience includes a role as Senior Pathologist at Warner Lambert. James holds a DVM and PhD in Pathology and Toxicology from Michigan State University, as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Alma College, respectively.
