Karbert Ng

Karbert (Bert) Ng is an accomplished professional in public policy with extensive experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as Director of Public Policy at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since February 2024, Ng advocates for the company before government officials and provides strategic legislative input. Prior to this role, Ng was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, specializing in the Inflation Reduction Act and advising life sciences companies. Ng has held leadership positions, including Mass HIway Program Director at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, where regulatory agendas and stakeholder engagement strategies were developed. Additional experience includes roles at Genentech, the Boston Bar Association, and the Health Policy Commission, along with a background in legislative research for the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Ng holds a JD in Business & Financial Law from Suffolk University Law School and a BS in Business Administration from Babson College.
