Kasha Witkos

Kasha Witkos is the Senior Vice President, International Region Head at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Kasha has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Kasha started their career at Baxter International Inc. in March 2007 as Vice President of Global Marketing for BioTherapeutics. Kasha then moved to Baxalta in January 2015 as Region Head EMEA / Cluster Head for Immunology. In June 2016, they joined Shire as Head of Europe Immunology, International Commercial and Franchise Head (Group VP). Kasha then left Shire in February 2019 to join Takeda as SVP, Head of Global Franchise, Rare Immunology. Kasha left Takeda in November 2020 to join Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.

Kasha has a proven track record in building successful teams and launching new products. Kasha is a strategic thinker with a passion for driving results. Kasha is a strong leader who motivates and inspires their teams to excel.

Kasha Witkos has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology/Genetics with Honors. Kasha also has medical studies from Akademia Medyczna im. Piastów Śląskich we Wrocławiu but did not get a degree.
