Marcia Anderegg

Marcia Anderegg serves as the VP, Head of Corporate Legal at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since September 2022, providing primary legal support for diverse transactions, including licensing, M&A, and research collaborations. Prior to this role, Marcia held the position of Vice President Assistant General Counsel at Epizyme, where responsibilities included leading the contracts team and advising on business development transactions. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Counsel, Licensing and Transactions at Shire, Associate General Counsel at Biogen Idec, and Senior Corporate Counsel at Genzyme, among others. Marcia's legal career began at Massachusetts General Hospital, where the focus was on negotiation of research and license agreements. Marcia holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College.
