Vasant Jadhav

Vasant Jadhav is an accomplished biotechnology professional with extensive experience in RNA therapeutics. Since January 2014, Vasant has been a pivotal figure at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, serving as Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President, and previously as VP of Research and Senior Director of Research. Prior to this role, from 2007 to 2013, Vasant worked at Merck & Co, where significant contributions were made in the field of siRNA conjugate platform development and collaboration with leading academic institutions. Vasant also held the role of Senior Scientist at Sirna Therapeutics/Ribozyme Pharmaceuticals, where innovations in siRNA modification and design were pursued. Vasant's academic credentials include a PhD in Biotechnology from the National Chemical Laboratory in India and a post-doctoral research degree in Molecular and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
