Vivek Marella

Vivek Marella is an experienced validation engineer with a solid background in the biopharmaceutical and chemical industries. Currently serving as Principal Validation Engineer for External Manufacturing at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since August 2022, Vivek previously held various positions at Sanofi Genzyme, including Program / Project Lead - CQV and Validation Engineer III from November 2018 to August 2022. Prior to that role, Vivek worked as cGMP and Compliance Manager at BASF and held senior engineering positions at PDI and Pfizer. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical & Bio Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
