Whitaker Melanie has a diverse work experience in both the education and cosmetics industry. From 2005 to present, they worked at the North Pike School District, initially as a Gifted Education Teacher. In this role, they provided challenging and enriching instruction to gifted students, observed and provided feedback to their colleagues, and collaborated with parents and faculty. Later, they became the District Gifted Education Coordinator, where they developed a gifted management plan, coordinated student referrals and placements, and ensured compliance with state regulations. Since 2017, they have also worked as an Aloette Beauty Sales Consultant for Aloette Cosmetics.
Whitaker Melanie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Southern Mississippi, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Whitaker further pursued their education at William Carey University, where they received a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching with an emphasis in Gifted Education. Whitaker attended William Carey University from 1995 to 1997. In February 2020, Whitaker obtained a Teaching License from the Mississippi Department of Education.
