Matthew Herz

Matthew Herz has a long history of work experience. Matthew began their career in 2005 as a Photographer for Matthew Herz Photography, specializing in architecture and fine art photography. In 2007, they took an Intern Architect role at Bumgardner, where they worked on a MUP set for a residential tower and designed graphics for a design review packet. In 2009, they were an Intern Architect at Fuller/Sears. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Senior UX Designer at Cozi Group, Inc. and a User Experience Designer and UX Intern at Marchex. At the same time, they were a Design Engineer at Matt Herz Design, where they worked on an iOS app from scratch, as well as various freelance web design and experience design projects. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer and Web Developer at Mighty AI. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer at Facebook, and they are currently a Senior Software Engineer at Aloft.

Matthew Herz attended Rhode Island School of Design from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Master's degree in Architecture. Prior to that, they attended Brown University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned an AB in Geology-Math/Physics.
