Sarah Gordo Littlefield

Aloha Director at The Aloha Foundation

Sarah Gordon Littlefield first made the long trip from Canada to Lake Morey in 1983 when she was twelve years old. Having heard songs and stories about camp from her aunt, Sally Philips (A 56, 58-59), she spent her camper years in the Art Barn, in the Woodchuck Hole, and out on trips, and when it was time for her to return as a Midi in the Campcraft Department, she brought along her brother David Gordon (A*86). She became Mama Woodchuck in 1992 before becoming the Head of Club in 1995, and it was during this time that Sarah – or “Gordo,” as she came to be known – was elected for a term as the Aloha staff representative to the Board of Trustees. Her career after graduate school took her away from camp for a time, and she returned in 2002 in the role of Assistant Director under Nancy Pennell. She worked with Nancy in that capacity until Marijean Parry was appointed, and she continued in that role under MJ, serving as Assistant Director at Aloha for a total of 11 years.
