Michael Meo

Co-founder + Chief Product Officer at alohome

Michael Meo has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Designer at Tia Architects in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Designer and Project Manager at Thompson Maryann Architects, where they introduced human centered design methodologies. In 2015, they became a Research Fellow at Harvard University, leading an 18 month, Harvard sponsored design research initiative exploring urban mobility. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Director of Megacities Program at Greenpeace, using human centered design to build bridges across organizations and change-makers. In 2018, they Co-Founded Roomy, a coliving platform that converts hotels into affordable housing. Michael currently serves as the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Alohome, a company that provides residential developers with the technology to sell new homes, direct-to-consumers, online.

Michael Meo holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a BA in Social Impact Design, Architecture, and Urbanism from Hampshire College.
