Prior to this role, Alan was the President of Pamount Petroleum, the largest privately owned refining company in California, from June 2001 to August 2006. Alan's career spans over 24 years at ARCO and Atlantic Richfield, where roles included President of ARCO Crude Trading and various managerial positions in marketing, supply, and planning across multiple locations. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completed in 1976.
